     If you like your beach days filled with good times and family fun, visit Pacific Palisades. This exceptional coastal neighborhood has miles of postcard-esque beaches and tons to do if you need a break from the surf and sun. Pacific Palisades has tons of great shopping and dining, but if you want to beat the heat visit the Getty Villa, a fantastic art museum. On the other hand, if you prefer beach days on the quieter side, give the world-famous Malibu a chance. While it’s true that most of Malibu’s main beaches can get packed, the city has various secluded public beaches, like Little Dume Beach or Malibu Colony Beach. So bring a book, and enjoy the peace and quiet!
