Decorating a pumpkin is a huge part of Halloween. If you have children they are probably already chomping at the bit, waiting to decorate a Jack-O-Lantern and eat some candy. Here are a few decorating tips.<\/p>\n

Use vaseline: smear vaseline inside the pumpkin and around any cut edges to help trap moisture in and make your masterpiece last a few extra days.<\/p>\n

No Carve: skip the carving altogether and glitter or spray paint your pumpkins. You can even glue fake eyes, ears, and hair. Do whatever, just don’t carve.<\/p>\n

Use the stem: the pumpkins stem can be a perfect ugly nose. So turn the pumpkin on its side and decorate around it.<\/p>\n
