Fuller tree: thin trees are the bane of everyone’s Christmas existence. This year, make your tree look fuller and healthier by wrapping green tinsel around the thinnest parts of your tree. The tinsel will blend in and your tree will better than ever.

Pumpkin Snowmen: if you have leftover pumpkins from Halloween and Thanksgiving, don’t throw them away, re-purpose them instead. Paint the pumpkins white and create your own snowman. This is the perfect project to complete as a family.

Cardboard box trash bin: Christmas morning can get messy with all the wrapping paper and trash on the floor. Most people use large black trash bags, but those are ugly and cold. Instead, decorate a large cardboard box with wrapping paper and make your trash bin look like a present.
